Just got a Canon MX310 scanner/printer/copier. Prints fine.

Resolved Question:

Just got a Canon MX310 scanner/printer/copier.    Prints fine. copies fine.   Haven't tried to fax.    But won't scan.

When you try to scan is there any error shown on the computer or printer? What happens when you try to scan something?

I press scan.   Get black / color on the screen.   Hit the black button.    The screen says Scan Mode. But nothing happens.

Ok can you please uninstall the software and printer from the machine.
Restart the machine
Reinstall the software
