Here is a free online media conversion service that can convert from/to all kinds of medial files. No software to download or install, just upload your file and select the output format
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
This information does not help me at all. I already knew about this site through my own research.
My question was stated clearly.
WP3 file to Wmv file conversion.
The link you sent me doesn't convert this file type.
Ant more thoughts on the answer?
That site should convert mp3 to wmv formats, unless of course there is something wrong with one of your files.
Have you tried using the Export feature in Photostory to export it to wmv format.
Alternatively, if you are looking for commercial or shareware programs to converts these file types please let me know.
Hope this helps.
If you look closely at the Image that you posted there is no WP3 file in the list.
This is the problem.
Yes, if you can get me to a free converter that will work I would be happy to pay you.
Send me a link to one.
I will try it and if it works, I will pay you.
So far I don't have the answer to the problem from you.
WP3 to Wmv.
Yes I tried the SAVE feature which converts it to Wmv but it keeps failing.
There is no visible feature in photostory 3 that is called EXPORT.
Yes, now I can see that you wrote wp3. My bad.
I see that you have lowered the question value. Not sure why you did that, but I do not see this as a good sign, so I think I will opt out.
What is a question value?
I didn't lower it intentionally.
Thanks for trying to help.
If you still want to try that is fine with me.
In that case the change of value must have been caused by a system glitch. I know that the site has been experiencing some issues during the recent upgrading process. My apologies for my remark.
Ok, I did some research on this and found that WP3 are not media files but special project files that are created during the process of creating the full 'story'. Once you have completed the story, use the Save your Story option which will export your work to a stand-alone wmv video file which can be played independently.
Here is a helpful guide for using PhotoStory. Please look at the bottom of page 1 for information about WP3 and WMV, and on page 8 for instructions on how to save your story.
Thanks for trying again but I know how to use Photostory.
The tutorial didn't help.
I took a quick peek at it and I knew all of that stuff.
It's a glitch somewhere that won't allow photostory to convert the project.
This is why I wanted a converter that could convert the WP3 project files.
Any more thoughts???
The only other suggestion I have is to uninstall PhotoStory from Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, then download and reinstall the latest version.
