i can not get a full screen on my computer i have ...

i can not get a full screen on my computer i have tried everything i can i go into display and try all the settings but no luck i turned on one day and just got half a screen any advise please !!!!!

Already Tried:
i have gone to control panel and then to display and tried appearances setting in fact everything on the menu and tried to stretch the screen but no luck !!!!

Ok, let's take a look at this;

 

Are you getting the full windows desktop, just not at full stretch?

If so, check the knobs on the monitor itself see if you can make the adjustments there.

Thanks for the advice, yes i can get windows but not at full stretch i used to get a full screen but all of the sudden it went to a smaller screen i have a laptop and i dont have any buttons to pressi keep going to control panel and then appearances and then try all i can but no luck i thought it would be easy but alas no!!!!!

Ok
I think you where on the right track; you didn't go far enough on your tabs.

Start ->Control Panel ->Display -> Settings

Use the slide arrow, pull it right to change screen settings. Just a click at a time, then click apply and see how it looks
