The reason I asked about problems is that a few people have reported issues with power on this model of tv and the problem exists after replacing the power adapter.

If Audiovox say they do not have it all I can suggest is finding an independant electronics supplier in your town and see if they can order one for you.
sometimes the local electronics suppliers (not radioshack) can obtain parts like theese direct from the manufacturer.
