In Word, select the list to highlight it, then from the menu click Table > Sort (you can choose either ascending or descending order). Then click OK.

In Excel, select the list in the column you want to sort (or the table in multiple columns), then from the menu click Data > Sort (you can choose either ascending or descending order). Then click OK.

If you need further assistance feel free to ask.

Hope this helps.
