It looks like the internet service you are using wants to use ports 119 and 443. Port 119 is usually used for NNTP (Network News Transfer Protocol) for accessing and reading network news. Port 443 is usually used for HTTPS (Secure HyperText Transfer Protocol) for accessing and reading web pages on a secure server.

To change the Windows XP firewall settings in Windows XP:

  • Go to the Control Panel
  • Choose Windows Firewall
  • (If the firewall is turned off then you possibly have a different problem)
  • Choose Exceptions
  • Choose Add Port
  • Enter the Port info
