Please confirm that you mean webmail, that is mail stored on a
server at, and accessed via your browser.

Have you actually signed into your Yahoo account using Mozilla?

Reply to xarqi's Post: Thank-you, yes I do mean webmail, I have tried to sign in, but the browser changes to IE to give me my e-mail,I transfered all details from IE over to Mozilla via the Wizard, I have inserted a Yahoo Toolbar on Mozilla, which has an e-mail Icon, yet, it will give me the Yahoo page, when I click on Mail it changes to IE.I have also had a browser hijacker, "about:blank" but hopefully, Spyferret has killed it.DO hope you are able to please help me!! I'm in despair.Customer

Hi everyone,

Customerjust sent more info to me directly. Here it is. Hope you can help:

I am  just learning because when I was at school, computers were unknown. Basically, I changed my Browser from IE to Mozilla Firefox, thought I had done well everything else transfered over ok, except, my Yahoo Mail from yahoo the computer is divided and shared between myself and my son, My son receives his mail ok on his side, I can access my mail from his side but not mine, when, I try from my side of  Mozilla Firefox, I automatically get transfered to IE Yahoo Mail page.I went into Yahoo Mail/ Internet Options, information, I picked up was; Protocol: Hypertext Transfer Protocol.  Type:COM?YM?OPTIONS?YY=82865 File  .Address: http//   (URL): YY=82865. if anyone can translate this information, so I can understand what to do, I would be very grateful   Hope this is sufficient information to give you an insight into my dilemma,
hope someone has  an answer for me please.please.    Customer

The Yahoo Toolbar that you use in Firefox: is it the one
specifically designed for Mozilla Firefox? If you are trying to use
the Yahoo Toolbar for Internet Explorer within Firefox, I would
not be at all surprised if it launched IE.

In case that is the problem, here's a link for the FireFox version
of the Toolbar:

Now - if I had any confidence, I'd make this a "for-pay" post, but
it is just a guess. Let me know how you get on.
