Follow these steps.

1. Execute update query on database

2. Execute commit statememt

3. Close your client

4. If you are using any server to connect to dtabase, close the server

5. Reatart the client and check. It should work

My database is Viewpoint. One of my tables is POIT. The where statement is Job = '16-060028.'
So I did not specify the database in my state. I just wrote it to Update POIT where the job = above and SET field RecvYN to 'Y'
