Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
Please mention a few more things about your question, so that we here at JustAnswer can get to know what task you need instructions and advice about.
For instance, what maker and model # of Cisco switch or 'network box' are you asking about?
I'm sorry - configuring Direct Inward Dial on this model is not something I have experience with. It is better that I cede this case to another Expert here with more experience in this matter, so I have Opted Out of the question (at no additional cost to you. When another Expert takes up this case, you ought to receive a notification email. Thank you for your patience.)
I am not sure if this will work, but you can try it. It's a solution that I found that may work.
You could disable the dial-peer 9200.
Changed the 98763 dial-peer from: dial-peer voice 98763 pots destination-pattern [2-9]...... direct-inward-dial port 0/3/0:23 forward-digits allto: dial-peer voice 98763 pots destination-pattern 9[2-9]...... direct-inward-dial port 0/3/0:23 forward digits 7To restore operation of the 9200 dial-peer, change the destination-pattern from "destination-pattern 92.." to "destination-pattern 921[0-1]" as a temporary workaround.
Again, this is just a solution that I found and I hope it helps. If it works, feel free to rate my answer! If it doesn't work, then that's okay, too. I just wanted to try to help.
