The excel help system stopped working ("page not found")

Customer Question

The excel help system for vba stopped working ("page not found") after I updated Norton. Any ideas?

This happened once before and I think it occurred after I updated Norton Internet Security (NIS). Indeed, I just updated (NIS) and bingo! I can no longer access VBA help (either online or offline). Spreadsheet help is also affected. The last time it happened, I re-installed Office and things returned to normal. However, this is an excruciating long fix. I think that the Norton updated is overwriting or deleting a file/s (ergo: "page not found" error message). If I could identify the file, I could make a backup.

Does you Norton Software include a firewall. If so try disabling it to see if this resolve it.
