I want to check the color of a Cell? myCell=ActiveCell.ColorIndex

Customer Question

I want to check the color of a Cell?
myCell=ActiveCell.ColorIndex 'color of my active cell is color index 34
iCol=Selection.Interior.Color34 '34 is is light Turquoise.
if myCell = iCol Then
Exit Sub
End If
This does not work. Cell A5 is the active Cell, I just want to make sure Cell A5 is ColorIndex34.

Hello,
My name is Jason. I look forward to helping you today.
May I ask if you changed the color of the cells manually or if you are using conditional formatting?
Thank you,
Jason
