We are trying to run an update program on the chip in the Acer computer. The computer says we have to have to be the administrator in order to do this. We have tried the log in and it still will not let us in. Help!
Optional Information: OS: Windows Vista; Browser: IE Already Tried: everything we can think of
HiCustomer Thank you for the question. I can give you a link to a service that allows you to recover your Windows administrator account password. The service is provided by www.loginrecovery.com. They provide you with instructions on how to download and create their boot disk, which you will use to boot your machine, and then upload the contents of the disk back to their website. You can choose the free option, which takes up to 72 hours, or you can pay $25 to have your password XXXXX immediately. Once your administrator password XXXXX XXXXX you can simply log in as administrator, and re-set any user passwords that you have forgotten. This will save you the hassle of re-creating Windows profiles, and potentially losing user data. While there are other services out there, none I have come across are free, or as reliable. Please let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to assist further. Thanks again,
