Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist.

If you have a DSL modem there should be a network cable that run from it that your plug in to the Internet?WAN

port on the Netgear. Turn off both the modem and the router. Connect the cable between the two devices

and plug in only your DSL modem. Wait until all the lights on the modem indicate it is

fully operational and then power on the Netgear and give it a few minutes to configure the connection.

It's best if you have a computer connected to the Netgear with a network cable but wireless should work as well.

The Netgear label has the wireless information on it for the network.

Whether you are connected to the router by wire or wireless, open a browser window

and type in the address bar www.routerlogin.net

to access the router setup screen.
