I installed a Linksys E1200 system at my home in Feb 2015.

Goodmorning my name is ***** ***** I installed a Linksys E1200 system at my home in Feb 2015. Everything is working fine but I would like to change my guest password. I do have my original setup disk and all of the associated information used at time of installation. Thank you

Customer: Just the original setup which was very straight forward

I hope you have connected to Linksys Router..

If so, this is what you have to follow.

1: Find default gateway address ip address. If your system is WIndows you can find by

Click Start > type CMD press enter key

This opens Command Prompt Window

2: On Command Prompt window, type ipconfig press enter key

Under Wireless adapter, you can see system ip address and its gateway..

Note down default gateway ip address, this would you be your router ip address


3: Now open Browser, and type gateway ip address on address bar and press enter key

This takes you to Linksys router console.


4: Enter Linksys console username and password


5: Once logged in, click Wireless Tab > Security

There you can change guest password ***** your router

Note: You must press the save button after entering new password
