I don't know who to contact. I am a technological idiot. We have Suddenlink, but have WiFi through a router -- Netgear 96. I have just purchased a Smart Phone, and am trying to set it up. I want to connect to WiFi, but when I choose Netgear96, I get an authentication problem. I am at a loss. Can you help me?
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular Netgear router?
Customer: We got it about 4 or 5 years ago when we got Suddenlink, but other than that my only experience is to know where it is.
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I was just trying to add WiFi to the Smart Phone -- we are having no issues with our TV.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: None.
JA: Anything else you want the network expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Pearl, I'm so sorry, please just let them know I know nothing about this. So far, I've contacted Consumer Cellular who told me I needed to talk to Suddenlink who told me you, not they provided WiFi connection through a router. I have no idea what I'm doing.
