I have your router product. I am receiving an error code of 651. Can you advise what this error code is for?
JA: Can you describe your network setup (devices and cables used)?
Customer: I am working with Wi-Fi. I am connecting an HP computer to Netgear and then to broadband ( Comcast).
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I had lost connection to internet and was trying to find out why and then received the error code 651.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: None because I keep getting this error code.
JA: Anything else you want the network expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I am communicating with you via an other computer.

Give this a try. Click the start menu button and open Settings (the gear icon)

click Network & Internet. With Status selected from the vertical menu on the left

look to the bottom of the page and click Network Reset>>Reset Now.

The process takes about 5 minutes and requires a restart. You'll receive a notification at the 2 minute to restart mark.

Once it has restarted try connecting again and let me know the result please.

I would love for you to connect to the computer but don't have a connection to the internet. If you can connect please advise how we do that.

I can't connect unless the computer has an internet connection. Please run the network reset

and hopefully when it completes you will have a connection.
