I have a Netgear WiFi. I am unable to connect to a new tablet because I do not know my password
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular Netgear router?
Customer: I do not have any.
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I called Netgear and was told i could not have any assitance unless i pay for it. I have the serial number but no known password
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: i have not tried anything as it is difficult for me to troubleshoot. That is why I was asking for help not realizing it would be difficult to get a new password
JA: Anything else you want the network expert to know before I connect you?

Please open a browser window and type in:

http://routerlogin.net

A login prompt should pop up, to login use admin as the username, and password or 1234 as the password

Once in, click Wireless Settings > On that page look fora key #1, passphrase, or preshared key box, it will show your wireless network password, if you have any trouble let me know.
