Thank you. Please give me a few minutes to check on the tablet manual.

If you tap on the star, does it do anything?

Or if you swipe down from the top, then tap on the star, does it do anything?

Please let me know. Thank you,

I read the manual I couldn't find an answer. Does nothing if I try to click on it or try to pull it down

Is it the star icon or the gear (or wheel) icon?

When did the star first show up?

Expert:  Viet - Network Tech replied 9 months ago.

Did you install any app recently that may have caused this issue? etc.?

Can you please capture a screenshot of the tablet's screen, then attach here, so I can check?

Sorry, that's strange. Maybe you installed an app recently?

Please press and hold the power on / off button on the tablet, then select the Restart option and confirm, then wait a bit, and check.

If that does not work, can you please capture a screenshot of the tablet's screen, then attach here, so I can check?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you,

You can press and hold the Power (On/Off) button and the Volume Down button at the same time to take a screenshot. Please let me know. Thank you,

Thank you. The star means you only have priority notifications enabled. Pressing a Volume button will allow you to select different notifications which make sound. Full details:

- Also, you can go to Settings app icon, then option Sound & notifications (interruptions) to adjust which notifications have priority. More information:

Please let me know if you have any further question. Thank you,

Expert:  Viet - Network Tech replied 9 months ago.

To remove the star, open Settings app icon, then select option Sounds & Notifications, then select option Interruptions. Then option When calls and notifications arrive, then select Always Interrupt. (Or something similar.)

- If there is still any issue, or if you need anything else, please reply back at the box below, so I can help further. If everything is fine, can you please take a moment to rate my service today by clicking on the 5-star icon at the top, then click on Submit. Thank you very much,
