Hi my name is ***** ***** I may be able to assist. It depends on if your wireless router is using WEP authentication. What kind of wireless router do you have?
Do you know what the model number is?
1. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.1.1 or http://10.0.0.1.2. Select the "Wireless" tab
3. Select "Security". The Wireless Security section should tell you if you are using WEP or WPA/WPA2. If you are using WEP, the key will be listed there also.
IT will not open???
The web address will not open?
no??? Maybe i need to try another browser
It might be a different IP. Hold down the Windows key + 'R' and that will open the Run prompt. Type cmd in the prompt and click OK. This will bring up the Command Prompt. Type ipconfig and tell me what the Default Gateway is.
where is window key?
Most keyboards have a Windows key on the left side between the Ctrl and Alt keys.
It still did not open. should i try 10.0.o.1
If you haven't tried http://10.0.0.1, please do so.
Ok. http://192.168.1.254 is what you'll want to put in the web browser then.
