Hi my name is ***** ***** I may be able to assist. It depends on if your wireless router is using WEP authentication. What kind of wireless router do you have?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.

Westell

Do you know what the model number is?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.

B90-755025-15

1. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.1.1 or http://10.0.0.1.
2. Select the "Wireless" tab

3. Select "Security". The Wireless Security section should tell you if you are using WEP or WPA/WPA2. If you are using WEP, the key will be listed there also.

The web address will not open?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.

no??? Maybe i need to try another browser

Expert:  Jason Fenoglio replied 6 months ago.

It might be a different IP. Hold down the Windows key + 'R' and that will open the Run prompt. Type cmd in the prompt and click OK. This will bring up the Command Prompt. Type ipconfig and tell me what the Default Gateway is.

Is the wireless name, or SSID, exactly the same? It is case sensitive.
