Just upgraded to Windows 10. Now, Outlook 2010 is stuck on

just upgraded to Windows 10. Now, Outlook 2010 is stuck on the Norton antispam plugin and wont open. Works fine on my other computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Norton, no luck.
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular machine?
Customer: lots
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: just what I have written, no good alternatives that I can find online.

Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Please close Outlook (or restart the computer)

, then press at the same time the two keys Windows and R on the keyboard, then type exactly below:

outlook /safe

, then click OK, and check.

- Then click on File menu at the top, then click on Options, then click on Addins, then click on Go button below. Then uncheck all the Norton item(s), then OK / OK, close.

, then close Outlook, then re-open it normally and check.

pop up window says windows cannot open outlook/safe

Please make sure to put a space between outlook and /safe
