My name is ***** ***** certified professional with over 10 years experience. I will be glad to assist you with this.

I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue.

Do you need the administration password ***** log in to the Netgear interface or do you need the WiFi password ***** the Netgear?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I've tried every password ***** can remember and nothing works. I think I need both
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I wouldn't mind you connecting to my laptop but I'm not on the Internet

okay, you will need to reset the Netgear Ex7000.

  1. Look for an object like a pen or a paper clip.
  2. On the bottom of the EX7000, look for the Factory Reset button.
  3. Press and hold the reset button using a paper clip or pen and wait for at least 5 seconds or until the Device to Extender LED blinks amber.
  4. Release the Factory Reset button and wait for the EX7000 to reboot.
  5. Once rebooted, your EX7000 is back to its factory default settings.

Web GUI:

  1. Use a computer that is connected to the EX7000 via wired or wireless connection.
Note: The Device to Extender LED lights solid green to indicate that a device is currently connected to the EX7000.
  2. Open your internet browser such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome.
  3. Enter in the address bar of your internet browser.
  4. On the login page, type your Email and Password ***** click Log In.
  5. On the NETGEAR genie page, click Settings then Other Settings.
  6. Click Reset. Click Yes to proceed.

if I go to that webpage I am going to lose you. How can I go to that webpage and then come back to you?
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
If I leave you I might be able to remember the password ***** if I don't have lost you and I can't keep going
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
If I go to step four and don't remember my password ***** can I do then?
Expert:  Randy IT Tech replied 3 months ago.

if you have reset the Netgear you will be entering the first time set up. On your computer, go to wifi, then in the list of available networks connect to the netgear ext. Then go to the in the address bar of your internet browser..

You wont actually need to be connected to the internet to do this, the GUI is a built in web page in the Netgear.
