Customer Question

A newish ThinkPad that hasn't been used for a year. Can't start it up. Plugged or not the red light is on. The light under the Fn button is on but nothing happens on the screen and I can't seem to turn the light off.

Hi there and welcome

Can you remove the power cable from the Thinkpad.

Then hold the power button down for 60 seconds then release.

Then connect the power cable, power on the thinkpad and tell me if it now starts please.
