Thanks. When the extender is plugged in it starts broadcasting a wireless network called Belkin.setup

Do you see that network on your wireless devices?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I will see if I can find it. I checked my devices in control panel and I do not see it.
Expert:  Byron replied 5 months ago.

It won't be in control control panel. When you click on your wireless icon to open up the list of available wireless networks

you should see it listed.

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I see it.
Expert:  Byron replied 5 months ago.

Connect to it. Once you're CONNECTED. Open your browser

and and go to http://belkin.range

This will connect to the extender. You won't have an internet connection at this point but it's

not necessary as you are setting up the extender itself to connect to your router.

The extender is connected, but the belkin.range web page will not open. Got a page not found error.

Hi. If you're connected to Belkin.setup (see attachment)

before opening Internet Explorer, open Control Panel>>Internet Options.

On the General page, under Browsing History click Delete.

with the first 4 boxes checked off click Delete again. When that's finished,

click the Advanced tab. Click Reset twice and close Internet Options.

Open Internet Explorer, say OK to recommended settings and try again.

If you have another browser on the computer like Firefox or Chrome, try those as well.
