I cannot connect my blu ray player to the internet
JA: Have you tested the connections by doing a ping utility test?
Customer: no I do not know how to do that

Customer: I am trying to wirelessly connect my blu ray player to the internet. I have set up the network but when I go to connect the ipaddress connection fails
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Network Technician should know?
Customer: my blu ray is a BDp3600 and I do have internet connection through my computer

Ok, to eliminate any possible problems with your own wireless network, could you try temporarily turning off the wireless security, then try connecting again and let me know if it works ok?
