Customer Question

Hi Jason. I'm the lady trying to reset my wifi password. I have reset the router, unplugged it and plugged it back in. I went to 192.168.11 and went to the wireless tab. I was able to change my network name but it won't change my password. What now???

Jason, here. Do you want me to connect to you? Are you able to get to the internet?

Expert:  Jason Fenoglio replied 6 months ago.

What is the model of your wireless router?

Expert:  Jason Fenoglio replied 6 months ago.

On the Wireless tab where you changed the network name (SSID), there should be another section where is asked for Wireless Security. You'll have options for WEP, WAP, WAP2-PSK, etc.. Choose WAP2-PSK and enter the Passphrase. That will be your new password ***** the wireless.

Let me know if that doesn't work for you, I can still remote assist.
