I'm sorry about the issue, First try to look for a sticker on the back side of the extender, which indicates the factory default password. this only works if the password ***** never changed when the extender was initially configured

Please reset your NETGEAR WiFi Extender back to factory default settings by following the steps below :

press and hold the Factory Settings button on the side panel for 10 seconds.

Release the buttons and wait for the extender to reboot.

After the reset procedure, the extender will be reset to the factory default settings. The password ***** access the should be: password

I put a pin into the factor reset and I no longer see the Anne and Jeff EXT in my list if networks. The green light is on the extender

Yes exactly, the SSID or 'the name of the extender' will change. please select the first network with the "highest" wireless signal.

i got the the proper page, it sees my base network, i put in the wifi password, and it does nothing..appears
