I'm sorry about the issue. Is this a brand new router?
What username and password ***** you try?
Please reply at the box below. Thank you.
Is it asking for the Asus router's username and password? Or is it asking for your Internet username and password?
It looks like you are not there. Let me provide some possible solutions you can try when you are available.
- Have you tried with the default username admin and password admin?
- If that does not work, with the Asus router powered on and connected to the computer, press the tiny Reset button located at the back of the Asus router for about 10 seconds
; please click on the website below for the location of the router's reset button:
, then go to the website below:
; (or website http://router.asus.com/)
, and if prompted, enter admin for username and enter admin for password
, then follow the router setup instructions there.
; if needed, please see more details at
, and/or at
Note: If it asks for your Internet username and password, please check with your Internet service provider.
When you are available, please reply at the box below to continue troubleshooting. Thank you.
You're welcome. OK. If needed, if possible, you can take a screenshoot of that screen, and let me know, thank you.
What's the model of your Internet modem?
Disconnect power cord from the modem for a couple of minutes, then re-connect, and try again.
- Did you connect all modem, router, computer devices as shown in the image at the website below:
, then push & hold the reset button at the back of the router for about 10 seconds
; (reset button location http://i.imgur.com/w3K8IYS.jpg)
, then wait a few minutes
, then on that computer, what happens when you click on the website below:
, what does it show?
Please let me know. Thank you.
