I have a blue ray player and it keeps loosing signals. I have done everything that can be done with the router and still keeps eliminating signals. Is there software that can be downloaded and can you help with this

How far is the player from the router?
Do you have issues with any other devices over wifi?

we are approx. 25 feet from router
all other devices are working

Are they in the same room? Or are they within range that you can plug the player into the router directly, with a long ethernet cable: http://amzn.to/1n08PJS
If so, that is the next step here, both as a potential fix as well as a diagnostic process.

You can route a cord over, temporarily.

I couldn't tell you that without knowing the current software version.

You can look in the Support section of the menu for that.

But, it is very rare for a software update to help this type of issue. It is hardware related, which is why I really need you to test the ethernet, even if you have to move the player to do it.
