Customer Question

I have aan ATT gateway (modem and router combined) that I first started using. I would like to know how to disable one of the computers on the network occasionally. I know how to do that with Netgear router but I no longer have that. How would I do that?
Is there a common user name and password? Is there an address like 10.0.0.1 to use?

Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. What's the model of your AT&T gateway device?

Do you see the address at the back/bottom of the att gateway?

If no, can you click on Start->All programs->Accessories->Command Prompt, then type ipconfig then press Enter key, then it will tell you the Default Gateway numbers, then use it as the website address.

Please let me know. Thank you.

OK. I have the address, and it worked,
but I went to the security location, but I don't wee how to change the connection setting.

I don't think it has that option for ATT gateway, but there is usually MAC address filtering option; please check. Thank you.

It shows all that is connected to the LAN, but the only thing I can change is to enable or disable the firewall. I did not find a filtering system. Where would I find that?

Is there a model at the back/bottom of the ATT gateway?

Do you see the Network / Wireless option?

Thank you.
