Have you already downloaded and installed the correct software and drivers for the printer? Sometimes it will connect without this but with your particular model need to have the correct software

As for the iPhone and iPad would need the Brother "iPrint" application installed from the App Store

If you download the Printer & Scanner drivers as well as the Wireless Setup Utility you can use the Utility to get the printer communicating to your Mac

I have the apps down loaded. It worked at the other house on cox worked here on frontier. We now have highs net won't work.

Do I need a newer router

I understand, so might be an issue with your new modem. Can you try restarting the modem/router to see if will allow the connection?

Yes based on your description it seems that it definitely has something to do with the router

I thougt it may te modem is 4, 5 years old
