Hi,
I have a lenovo G560 with windows 7, since yesterday I cannot open any internet page as I get a dns error message. however in the system toolbar it says that my computer is connected to the internet fine via my wifi home network.
I tried resetted the network adapter, and all the automatic trouble shooting options... but nothing has worked so far

Have you reset your modem / router?

Unfortunately I don't think it's a modem issue as I have another windows PC and a smartphone connected and working fine

No this is the only machine that won't connect, I restored it to the previous known major update and will run an anti virus scan now

OK you only said web pages were not connecting, you can transfer the Malwarebytes software to the other PC using a USB stick

You can also try adding these servers to your network connection properties under the DNS setting:

8.8.8.8

8.8.4.4

I ran the malware software, it found 9 item and deleted them, I restarted the computer but still doesn't work.
How do I access the dns settings?
