I have to leave again. 2 questions are can I restore to an earlier date without messing up 10? How can I get the latest drivers that support 10 on this computer and then upgrade my computer?

Hello again!
It looks like the network drivers are installed, but something else happened since you cannot access the Internet. It can probably be repaired, so you don't need to restore to Windows 7.
When you regain Internet access, Windows 10 will automatically install all necessary drivers using Windows Update.
Please do the following to solve the Internet access problem:
Right-click the network icon located in the bottom right corner and then select "Open Network and Sharing Center". When a new window opens, click on "Change adapter settings" located on the left side.
A list of installed network adapters will appear. Please list them all here.
