Connects OK with Windows 7 and NetZero but none of the pages

Customer Question

Connects OK with Windows 7 and NetZero but none of the pages will load. Tried Google Chrome and Firefox and Internet Explorer. A tech person uninstalled everything in the computer then reinstalled Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. He ended up telling my niece that she needs a dial up modem. BUT, I know this internal modem supports dial up and besides, connection is not the problem. Do you have any suggestions I can pass on to my niece? THANKS!

Hello & Welcome to JustAnswer.
Can you do this and let me know the results:
1. Hold windows key and press R
2. Type cmd and click ok
3. In the black command prompt window; type
ping -t 4.2.2.2
PRESS ENTER
Type me two lines from the results you get.
Thanks

No I cannot. the computer is at another location. Besides, do not want anyone taking over her computer. Can't you just give possible step by step instructions?
Expert:  Kamil Anwar replied 1 year ago.
That's okay. I am not taking over and if i do that will not be with out your permission.
I cannot give step by step instructions to address the issue unless i figure out what the issue is which is why i have given you the steps above.
I need to know the results of those commands and it may take some time to troubleshoot the issue.
