Hello,
My name is Jason. I look forward to helping you today.
May I ask for the brand and model name of your wireless router or your wireless modem?
Once I have the above requested information, I will be able to give you the correct answer.
I look forward to your response,
Jason

Does it see any signals at all?
What is the full model name of your Kindle?

Thank you for the update.
In most cases, the problem is a faulted configuration.
Please, follow the instructions below to reset your Kindle. It will erase everything on it, including the faults. After it is reset, you can simply reconfigure it just as you did when you first purchased it.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Settings.
- Tap Device Options, and then tap Reset to Factory Defaults.
- Tap Reset to confirm.
After the reset is complete, you can log into your wireless signal & account. Once that is complete, your books will download.
If you need anything else in the future, please let me know.
Thank you for your time today.
- Jason

I have been doing that at every location it keeps saying authentication failed
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 1 year ago.
You reset to factory defaults each time, but are given the authentication failed message?
Thank you for the update.
May I start a remote screen sharing session with you so that I can better help you resolve this problem?
When the remote begins, a chat window will appear that we can use to communicate with each other.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I'm not set up for that
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 1 year ago.
You are not "set up" for that? I am not understanding. If you allow the remote, I would send you a link that you would then click to run the remote.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Don't want to spend additional money
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 1 year ago.
Okay, we don't have to do the remote then.
What is the brand and model name of the wireless router that you are near now?
