my roku through amazon , i try yo get a movie last night and it wont let me on

ok, so the issue, to be clear for me, is the Roku connecting to the wireless to get an internet connection correct Doris?

It gets no internet at all?

Can you do the following please

Connect your Roku to your router using an Ethernet (Network) cable.

Complete the setup for an Ethernet connection in the Roku settings.

While Ethernet connection is active (i.e. still connected to your modem or router) go back to the Internet settings on the Roku and choose the wireless connection option.

After choosing the wireless option, choose your network.

Input your password (remember, capitals matters).

You should now be connected to your wireless network and you can remove the Network Cable.
