i have a netgear modem and it is connected to the computor tower and the telephone line

Yes it does but Netgear 76 but there is a lock next to the message signal.


 


in the same area on the pad it has OTHER but i do not want to go there if i can help it

OK so it looks like you are unsure of your password.

A login prompt should pop up, to login use admin as the username, and password or 1234 as the password

Once in, click Wireless Settings > On that page look for a key #1, passphrase, or preshared key box, it will show your wireless network password, if you have any trouble let me know.
