Connecting your iPad^® to your wireless network is quick and simple. Before connecting, you need to make sure that you have your router’s Wireless Network Name (SSID) and network key or Password. This article will guide you on how to manually connect your iPad^® to the wireless network.

NOTE: To learn how to connect devices using the Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) on your iPad^® through Cisco Connect Express, click here.

Step 1:
On your iPad^®’s Home Screen, tap Settings.

Step 2:
Select Wi-Fi.

NOTE: If the Wi-Fi feature is OFF, slide the Wi-Fi switch to the right to activate.

Step 3:
On the right navigation, tap on your wireless network’s name.

NOTE: In this example, ShinyPenguin is used.

NOTE: If the iPad^® can’t detect your wireless network’s name, but your other devices can, try enabling and disabling the Wi-Fi feature of the iPad^®. If you still can’t see the network, powercycle the iPad^® by powering it OFF then ON.

Step 4:
Enter your network’s Password in the available field. Tap Join.

Your iPad^® should now be connected to your wireless network.

Here is how to find your password:If you have a Windows computer that is already wirelessly connected:Click the Wireless Icon near the clock>

Select your wireless Network Name>
