I have AT&T dsl service in my home, and have recently replaced my router with a Pace 4111n gateway. I have successfully connected to this router with laptops, iPads, and iPhones. I also have an iAqualink pool controller that will not connect to the new router unless I disable wireless security on the router. I have checked and double checked the network name and password XXXXX into the iAqualink, no luck. This device worked fine with my old LinkSys router. What do I need to do to connect the iAqualink to the Pace 4111n wirelessly, with security enabled?
Greetings,Welcome to Just Answer. My name is Jason and I will be the expert working with you today to help resolve your problem. This sounds like an issue with the level of encryption.I assume that you are using WPA2 or WPA encryption.
If you are using WPA2 encryption, please change the level to WPA on the router and try connecting once more.
If you are already using WPA, please, change it to WEP on the router and attempt to connect.
