but the phone needs to be connected to your wireless

Customer:

i need to do it over internet access, do i need to contact my isp?

RichieMe :

yes, and ask them to open port 80 and 9000

RichieMe :

if they wont tell them any two ports would do

RichieMe :

and then you update the portforwarding and the DVR with the ports and it will work

Customer:

ok, while im doing it, do i need to open 4 ports so that i can use two dvrs?

Customer:

i have 8 cameras and on 4 per unit

RichieMe :

correct, and you assign the second one ip 192.168.0.165

RichieMe :

and forward the other two ports to that IP

Customer:

isp will be changing my internet to a static ip address in the next 30 days

RichieMe :

ok, but will they be opening the ports?

Customer:

yes

RichieMe :

perfect, then when they do this, it will work

RichieMe :
