Hello and welcome to JustAnswer. I look forward to assisting you today with your question and providing the best answer possible.

Does this issue occur with only one computer?

Does the lenovo thinkcentre have windows xp, vista, or 7?

Can you disconnect the power cord from the router for a few minutes, then reconnect and check?

Thank you.

How are you using the Internet now?

Can you try:

Please click on Start, then right-click on Computer, then click on Manage, then click on Device manager, then open/expand Network adapters and right-click on each of the items under it and click on Uninstall and confirm. Then restart the computer.

Please click on Start->All Programs->Accessories, then right-click on Command Prompt and click on Run as administrator. Then type each of the command lines below, one line at a time, and press the Enter key each time:

netsh winsock reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh int ip reset netshlog.txt

Then restart the computer and check.

Please let me know. Thank you.

Was it working previously?

Do you see any problem/yellow item under device manager?

What are the item(s) under network adapters in device manager?

Can you try a different Ethernet/network cable?

Do you have another computer to test the modem?

Thank you.

Can you try another ethernet/network cable when you can?

Also, when you can download the network driver from a working computer, then transfer via the USB / flash drive and install.

Thank you.

In the mean time, you can try some more things:

You can try this: click Start->All programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore and restore the computer to any date before this issue has occurred.

If that does not work, you can back up your files and do a system recovery (click on Start, All programs, Lenovo / thinkcentre,etc.). And/or turn off the computer, then turn it back on and press the key F11 and/or ThinkVantage button when the computer logo appears on the screen in order to do a system recovery.

Thank you.
