I have Cisco model E1000. I no longer have a computer, only an IPad and am unable to remember my password XXXXX cannot connect with my new IPhone. Please help!

OK then the one other thing you can do is simply reset the router to its default state. In this state the router just serves up a wireless network with no password, so you can then join it to anything. Please note that if you do this your iPad will be disconnected from the network as well and you may have trouble getting it reconnected. If you decide you don't want to do this then you really will need a computer to fix this situation. If you decide you do want to do it then simply press and hold the reset button on the bottom or back of the E1000 (the placement depends on the revision of the router) for 15 seconds and then release. The router will reboot and being serving a non-password XXXXXXXXX network called Cisco or Linksys and you should be able to join it without a password.Remember, if for any reason you are unsatisfied with my answer, we can continue the conversation until you’re satisfied and Accept my answer.
