Unfortunately at the moment it's against justanswer polices to do so.

I found my IP addy

Click on windows logo Start button. In the search box type in cmd and hit enter.

Then a dos window will open type ipconfig /all and hit enter on the command line.

Once you type in the command you will get a bunch of info. Scroll up on the window you will then see your subnet mask and default gateway IP.

They should be listed in the DOS prompt window.

it does not like the sub mask #

oh i see it right under the ipv4 #

I have been trying to apply settings but it say it does not like ip address but it is highlighting the sub mask section

First, the router needs no configuration because it's set to DCHP when you plug in the cable modem.

ITTechQ&A :

So I am not sure why you are configuring the router.

router settings were changed by on line tech to make printer wireless

Then reset the router and re configure the wireless security.

Frist, make sure you use a PC that is connected to the router directly with a network cable. When you reset you will lose internet access if you are on a wireless connection.

Next on the router usually on the back panel there is a reset button. Take a pen or paper clip use it to hold down the button for 25secs.

Don't make any network setting changes.
