The errot message is "Failed to connect to network. Check if DHCP is set in gateway. If DHCP is not set, set IP manually".There are three DHCP settings in my router - DHCP disabled, DHCP Server, and DHCP relay.
My router is a Trendnet TEW-658 BRM,
I've done that and the TV says that it is now connected to the Internet. However, when I go to the input list, the DLNA Network option is unavailable. I cannot browse the Internet or my network from the TV. What should I try next?
It is an LG model LW5700,
I think I know what the problem is here - I hadn't installed the server software that came with the TV onto my PC!
I have now installed it and I am waiting for the TV to download a software update. Hopefully once it has done that I will be able to browse my PC from the TV.
It's taken until now to download a software update to the TV(!) - but it is now working and I can connect the TV to my PC wirelessly.
Thanks for your help,
Yesterday i changed my router from WEP to WPA, and I could connect wirelessly via my laptop for a while. However, I can now no longer connect my laptop to my wireless.
Can you advise please,
As a last resort I rebooted the router yesterday, and that seems to have solved the problem for now.
I will try your suggestion if the problem persists,
