Do not see it

Expert:  Freddy M. replied 5 years ago.
Did you get to the primary network?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Yes. I have 2 computers. One is a Laptop and the other is a desktop. I've gone through most of the steps. I am now connected to the internet through a ethernet cable. Can't seem to get the wireless function working. My laptop had been working. The passphrase is greyed out and blank
Expert:  Freddy M. replied 5 years ago.
Ok if it is greyed out and blank it should allow you to set one yourself.
Click enable primary network if it hasn't been already.
Next to SSID make sure it says what you want your network to be named.
Under the automatic security configuration choose disabled.
Then choose WPA as rge security type and enter a passphrase.
Write down that passphrase and then click on apply.
You should then be able to connect with that passphrase now.

Still can't do. Here is how screen looks. Primary network ENABLED (E) Network Name: Motorola-47749, Closed Network=E, WPA is grayed out showing Disabled (D), WPA-PSK I=E, WPA2=D, WPA2-PSK=E, WPA/WPA2 ENCRYPTION IS AES, WPA PRESHARED KEY IS "motorola", show key box is checked, RADIUS SERVER, RADIUS PORT, RADIUS KEY IS GREYED OUT, GROUP ROTATION INTERVAL IS 0, EVERYTHING UNDER THAT IS GREYED OUT. AUTOMATIC SECURITY CONFIG IS DISABLED. E=ENABLED AND D EQUALS DISABLED
Expert:  Freddy M. replied 5 years ago.
Ah ok well according to that the pre shared key should be what you need to enter to connect wirelessly to your network.
