Ive set up the Motorola SBG6580 gateway. We have a Canon

Customer Question

I've set up the Motorola SBG6580 gateway. We have a Canon Pixma MG5220 wireless printer. The gateway is located in the family room at one end of hte house, and the printer is in a back bedroom.

I assumed the range of hte gateway would not be a problem, but the signal strength is so week we can't print. I changed the control channel from the default of 1 to 11, and the strength was a little better, but we still can't print.

Is there anythig we can do to solve the problem short of spending more money for a wifi extender?
