It is wireless, i have tried both with and without encryption
The mac filtering was turned off already
My guess is the problem might be the firmware. If you can get your hands on .75 I would suggest that.

i am not able to update firmware manually on the TV, at least i have not found a way to.
The manual says it will auto update when then are released, thats all it says for it?

yes, it will show both a 2.4 and 5 channel i can select and enter passwords, but it will try to connect for about a minute then say "unable to connect"

yes, i have a laptop, and several smart phones
all no problem connectiing
please try to change the security level with WPA or WPA2 instead of WPA+WPA2
then try to connect.
WPA2 and WPA along with WEP do not work
it will also not work with out security on my router
but i can connect to a neighbors unsecured signal
