BeBoo :

Hi there and thank you for contacting JustAnswer. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I'd be glad to assist you.

BeBoo :

Can you please provide me with the make and model number of your router? You should be able to find this on the back of bottom of the device. For example - Linksys WRT54G.

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

Netgear Wireless J-N 150 Router WNR1000

BeBoo :

Please visit the following webpage: http://www.routerlogin.net/ - It will ask for a login. The default username is admin and the default password XXXXX XXXXX admin or password

Once logged in, on the left, click Wireless Settings under Advanced. You can change your wireless password XXXXX

BeBoo :

I'm sorry, Wireless Settings under Setup

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

I need to change my password?

BeBoo :

You might not be using a supported security type.

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

so what do I need to change it to ?

BeBoo :

On that page, you will be able to see the security type (WEP, WPA, WPA2)

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

ok

BeBoo :

It should be set to at least WPA

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

It is

BeBoo :

And you are sure of your password?

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

yes I am

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

I have two computers on it

BeBoo :

Hrm, looks like the iFit Live wants WEP.

BeBoo :

not WPA

BeBoo :

Was just going over the documentation

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

ok so change it to wep

BeBoo :

Yes, any wireless devices will need to be reconnected.

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

ok well we will be disconnected I will get back on in just a sec

BeBoo :

No problem.

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

ok... that took freakin forever.... so you have to get the key from the computer you set it up with for every device you add?

BeBoo :

No, the key will never change.

BeBoo :

With WEP, it's a key, not a phrase

BeBoo :

Sadly.

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

oh ok... It is testing the connection

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

still no connection.

JACUSTOMER-huda0mco- :

The computer I am on now is windows 7

BeBoo :

Hrm.

BeBoo :

Sorry but i'm going to have to opt out. Another expert should be by shortly.
