Please connect a cable from modem to the Internet/WAN port(it will be one separate port) of the router.

Now, connect an ethernet cable from any of the 4 ports(which are located together) of router to the computer.

Now, check if you are online or not. we will make it wireless after that.

Please check on the body of the laptop, if you see a button to turn on the wireless services. You will see a button with wireless signal. You can try Fn+F2(Hold down Fn key and hit F2 key).

the laptop wireless radio was enabled. it could not receive the wireless router signal.

I used two different laptops with the Wireless Radio enabled and they could not connect.

Does both of your laptop detects wireless networks?

Now, please turn off the dell wireless utility by clicking start, all programs, dell wireless and uncheck all of the options under it and click apply and ok.
