I do not have the Resource CD for my Netgear RangeMax Wireless

Customer Question

I do not have the Resource CD for my Netgear RangeMax Wireless Router Model WNR834B, including:
— The Smart Wizard Installation Assistant.

How do I get a replacement CD or download it so I can install the router?

You don't need the cd to install the router, you can just hook everything up and configure the router through the router's configuration webpage:
heres a guide to walk you through the steps:
That being said, if you REALLY MUST have the cd:
I would reccomend doing it manually with the guide I listed above.....the resource CD is unneccesary software In my opinion.....but it's up to you :)

Your answer did not help. The computeor still only connects to the website will not connect to any other website. My computer still does not recofnize the connection.

Your link to the CD was a dead link to its photo, not the exe file.

I think you downloaded the wrong file, I made a direct link to the download for you HERE
when the download finished unzip it with winzip or whatever you use....(you can also right click on the file and pick "extract all" and let windows do it for you)
when it finished you should have a folder named "27Nov06"
open that folder and run the file called "autorun" or "autorun.exe" (depending on your windows folder options)
This will install the router software :)
