Hello and welcome to JustAnswer, I look forward to assisting you today. Are you having problems with the USB adapter?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I suspect so. It my not be bi-directional. It is new !
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Can a parallel bidirectional adapter be the used with the Zip 100?

The problem you might be running in to is the software used to connect to the drives. It may not be compatible with Windows 7? I have run into that before?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I suspected that, too. Do you have a fix?

I do if I can find it. Give me a minute please.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Okay ...

Okay I think this is it. What you are going to do is install a virtual operating system of Windows XP on your Windows 7 computer. I have done this before and it works very well with older hardware. You will actually look as though you are running from an XP environment. Go to this LINK and follow the instructions.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I can do that. Can you send that link in a email to me so I can pick it up on my notebook?

Unfortunately we are prohibited from direct email. I can send the raw link and you could copy and past it into a text doc if that will help?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
That works too, just a bit awkward tho.
